For more than two decades Layne Gneiting has studied, competed, and performed using story archetypes. An expert in the communication strategies of story and performance, Gneiting founded ElysianPro to guide businesses and individuals through the storied process.

ElysianPro is passionate about helping people envision, transform, and tell their story. We help you create story-messages that live in memory and attract (and keep!) customers. Our services focus on three main areas.

For our BUSINESS clients we offer training packages in storycrafting, personal development, and communication strategies. Our storycrafting process helps clients tell their corporate story according to the archetypal journeys best suited for them (instead of following the tales of their competitors). Our personal development process emphasizes visions and benchmarks (instead of goals), and introduces a process for achieving balance in 5 areas of life. Our communication workshops are extremely interactive and help businesses quit trying to create success and focus instead on creating the conditions of success.

For our EDUCATIONAL clients we offer storytelling packages ranging from multi-week in-house residencies with students, to hour long concerts. Both emphasize the value of time-honored folktales to teach timeless principles, and help students map archetypes and heroic journey structures onto their own stories.

For our PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT clients we offer a variety of coaching and personal development packages–from expanding your natural speaking and performing gifts to following the 12-phase Heroic Journey toward your deepest desires.

Gneiting holds a Doctorate in Communication with an emphasis in Performance Studies from Arizona State University, where he studied persuasion, oral traditions, and story. He is a juried Artist with the Arizona Artist Roster and has traveled across the nation and as far afield as the British Isles performing and leading workshops. Until recently Gneiting taught Interdisciplinary Studies at ASU. He is based in Mesa, AZ USA.
