Laura Peters is a certified life coach and inspirational speaker. She has a B.S. degree in health education and a Master’s degree in exercise physiology. She had a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry where she mentored and coached many sales consultants. She is now living her dream of inspiring others to live their lives to the fullest each and every day.

In her talk on “ How to Deal and Cope with Stress in Your Life” she takes you on her personal journey. Her self- awareness journey is one of triumph over fear and over cancer. As a two- time cancer survivor she tells her amazing story. When her daughter, Kelsey was only two years old Laura was diagnosed with breast cancer, malignant melanoma, and that same year her father died of bladder cancer. In a moving presentation she discusses the 10 things that she incorporated into her life to deal and cope with stress. She talks about the emotional, physical, and spiritual process she went through. She believes by sharing her story she will be able to help others with their journey, and let them know they are not alone. She discusses: Setting priorities, releasing the past, strong health team, support system, healthy diet, relaxation, positive attitude, exercise, meditation, and sense of humor. Her power point presentation takes you along with her on her 3Day 60 mile walk for breast cancer!

Laura will motivate and promote change in participants personal and professional lives, by giving them the techniques they need to handle stress in these most challenging times.

Her mission is to help individuals, organizations, and corporations, incorporate more healthy living behaviors through coaching, training, and teaching mindful awareness.
