Main Stage—Neil Dempster, MBA, CSP
“VIDEOize Yourself!”
(At least) Five different ways to use video to MARKET, build your BRAND (without breaking the bank) & make a GAZILLION dollars!
What are you doing to separate yourself from those who compete for the same clients? Are your web sites, emails and other one-dimensional marketing materials creating a lasting and memorable impression that generate enough business for you? Do your presentations keep people interested and engaged? Let’s face a harsh reality … shifts in technology have created a society that now gives you about 3 seconds (or less) to get (and keep) their attention … or you’re gone!
Thankfully, the methods to stand out and get noticed no longer cost more than a Hollywood movie; in fact, most of the techniques to reach customers with appealing and eye-catching information can be done on a shoe-string budget. It’s time to VIDEOize yourself!
This month’s main stage presentation will be like no other you have seen. Neil Dempster, MBA, CSP, and a past-President of the NSA-Arizona chapter, will be your ‘Tour Guide’ as he profiles the video success strategies of some of the best in the business. He will then pull back the curtain and show you many time and money-saving techniques to achieve similar results. This session will offer practical tips, traps and resources for emerging speakers and seasoned pros (and everyone in between). Dempster will cover the myriad places where video can make a HUGE difference, including: web sites, emails, slide presentations, products (plus a few surprises!).If you want to market yourself more effectively, build an incredible brand and make a GAZILLION dollars, then you do not want to miss this exciting opportunity. Several drawings will take place for consulting/products/services packages worth hundreds (potentially thousands!) of dollars.
Voice of Experience—Marnie Green
“Speaking Across the Generations”
“Short attention span” “Self-interested” “Fidgety” These are all words to describe today’s younger workers and more youthful audiences. Let’s explore how to bridge the divide between our traditional Baby Boomer approaches and the new expectations of Generation Y, all delivered through the eyes of a typical Gen Xer. Bring your iPhones and Blackberries and be prepared to engage in an exploration of how things are changing. As audiences get younger (and we all get older) we must reexamine our methods and adapt. Audiences are changing. Are you?
Marnie Green and her Management Education Group, Inc. guide organizational leaders through their workplace challenges. To accomplish this objective, her firm provides valuable step-by-step programs and facilitation services that create more confident leaders and team members. Green is the author of Painless Performance Evaluations: A Practical Approach to Managing Day to Day Employee Performance.

The Business Building Session starts promptly at 12:15 and ends at 1:30 p.m. The Business Building session is designed to provide members with information and tools necessary to successfully build their speaking business. “Social Media Networks”
Lon Safko, Author, The Social Media Bible
Those who have a laptop will be asked to power up their battery and bring their external modem. Other will look on. In a Q and A format, Lon will help guide you through your social media challenges.
Lon will present the entire landscape of social media and discuss it from a strategic perspective: Why is LinkedIn important? How does Twitter really work? Why are Fortune 5000 companies in virtual worlds? Why is a Facebook, YouTube, and blogging page integral to your marketing and your bottom line? Once the presentation is complete, the attendees can “boot-up” and we will have a “fireside” chat, just you and Lon. And, by the time we part, you will have answers to every social media question you have ever had!
Lon Safko founded eleven companies, created “The First Computer To Save A Human Life”, has eighteen inventions & more than 30,000 personal papers in the Smithsonian Institution, invented Tool-Tips, is an author of six books, including The Best Selling “Social Media Bible”, has been awarded The Westinghouse’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Ernst & Young / Inc.
