Living Room Forum on Consultants/Coaches Feb. 27

NSA-Arizona’s Living Room Forum brings together 15 to 20 NSAers (professional and candidates) to share ideas about these areas of expertise: Humor, Consultant/Coaches, Seminar/Workshop, Authors/Publishers. It is an excellent time to get to know each other over a light dinner and great ideas. Each Living Room Forum will be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008–Consultants/Coaches

Facilitator: Debbie Waitkus

Our February Living Room Forum focuses on Consultants/Coaches. Debbie Waitkus is our facilitator and our host is Kathy Marcil. Join us on Wednesday, February 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  1. As coaches and consultants, we often work with clients who have self imposed limitations or fixed positions that prevent them from taking action or producing bottom line results. What are your own self imposed limitations or fixed positions that prevent you from taking action or producing bottom line results?

  2. In managing your time, how do you balance your work of coaching/consulting and mining for new business?

  3. Do you speak to consult/coach or do you coach/consult to create speaking opportunities? How do you blend the two?

  4. Do you coach/consult with a client for a period of time or as a one-time event? What are some of your strategies for going deeper with a client–keeping their needs in mind as opposed to your own (lining your own pocket)?

Debbie Waitkus, with Golf for Cause®, is a business-golf consultant, speaker and trainer. Based on her own experiences as a late comer to the sport, she helps organizations and individuals-–especially women and beginners–-to Get Out, Live Fearlessly. At workshops, educational golf outings, corporate events and charity tournaments, her creative coaching delivers a positive message that inspires as well as educates. “Turn golf into gold!.” ® http://www.golfforcause.com
