Next Living Room Forum—March 25
NSA-Arizona’s Living Room Forum brings together 15 to 20 NSA-Arizona members (professional and candidates) and friends to share ideas about these areas of expertise: Humor, Consultant/Coaches, Seminar/Workshop, Authors/Publishers, Technical and Keynotes/Motivational. It is an excellent time to get to know each other over a light dinner and great ideas. Each Living Room Forum is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

“How to Increase Your Income with the Electronic ‘Speech Magnifiers’ (or ‘You Magnifiers.’)”
Facilitator: Jim Taszerak
Host: Vicki Sandler (Ray Rd. and 32nd St.)
The Living Room Forum meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month September through November (3rd Wed) and January through May.
Join us on Wednesday, March 25, for How to Increase Your Income with the Electronic “Speech Magnifiers” (or “You Magnifiers.”)
Of course we’ve always needed to have a great speech, but we’re now competing with speakers who know how to magnify their message with tools like PowerPoint, GoToWebinar, and WordPress, LinkedIn, iContact and a couple dozen more.
Jim Taszarek is the former GM of KTAR & K-Lite Radio. After spending a couple decades in broadcasting and newspapers, now works with major league sports franchises and media of every kind. In doing so, he not only uses every available technology – but spends much of his time showing clients the simplicity and profit of using, “Speaker’s Miracles.”
He’ll share his tips on . . .
- Webinars. Making an excellent speaking income without going to the airport – or even getting dressed up.
- Presentation Zen. The Do’s and Don’t of PowerPoint. How to cause your audience to either fall asleep or stand up and cheer.
- Blogs – the no-cost replacement for the old-fashioned website.
- LinkedIn. I got a six-figure consulting gig from a guy in England who thought I was dead.
- Constant Contact. There’s a better one. It’s easier, cheaper – and local.
- The Twitter Class of Online Stuff. Interesting, but not much income.
- KEYNOTE; Mac’s version of PowerPoint. The Ultimate Knock ‘em Dead Presentation Tool
Plus. As you sign up, you’ll be sent an online, pre-meeting survey. (It’s another free tool we’ll show you.)
