“NSA-Arizona 30th Anniversary Celebration”
The NSA-Arizona 30th Anniversary Celebration will offer both fun and valuable information. VOE Steven Cates will tell us the story of the origin of NSA and the formation of NSA-Arizona. Four NSA-Arizona past presidents (Mike Hayashi, Naomi Rhode, Glenna Salsbury and Ed Scannell) will share lessons learned from their experience as professional speakers along with humorous stories and anecdotes. This star-studded group of speakers has earned an alphabet soup of speaking credentials and awards including CSP, CPAE, and Cavett Awards, to name just a few. This is a rare opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced and best-recognized speakers in the profession!
The meeting will conclude with a special celebratory cake and time to enjoy the company of your fellow speakers. We hope you will be able to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event!

You have a passion for your topic but when you decide to share it for money, you become not just a speaker but a business owner. This workshop will cover what you need to know to run your business like a pro. From contact and contract management to dollars and cents, we’ll cover it all.
Carolyn J. Brown, professional speaker and former Chief Operating Officer for past national president of NSA Jim Cathcart, is the CEO of The Accountant’s Office. She will share tips and tools that you can put into use immediately to be a professional off the platform as well as on it.
This Business Building Session starts promptly at 12:15 p.m. and ends at 1:30. All morning attendees are welcome.
