November 10–Mark Mayberry
Rockin’ With NSA
To have a speaking career that “rocks,” just having a great speech is not enough. It takes a thorough understanding of the business side of the speaking profession, especially when it comes to marketing.
Mark Mayberry understands “the business side” of the speaking profession. Mark is coming to speak for NSA/Arizona on November 10th, and you won’t want to miss his informative, fast-paced presentation. You will learn how to increase your revenues and profits, from your initial contact with a prospect to the post-program follow-up. You’ll discover how to effectively stay in touch with clients between engagements, how to find business in your own neighborhood, how to turn a casual comment into a great reference letter, and so much more! NSA-Arizona Rocks on November 10th – Don’t miss it!
Mark has been “rockin’” as full-time professional speaker, and a member of NSA since 1990. Mark has “been there, done that.” He was president of Fashion Connection, an apparel company that went from zero to $7 million in sales in less than five years!
Mark is the co-author of “Building The Dream Workforce.” He also works as a facilitator for strategic planning sessions, helping companies and associations develop their vision and values. Mark has also been Vice-Chair of two NSA Winter Workshops and the 2004 NSA Convention, right here in Phoenix.
Voice of Experience: Neil Dempster
From Sound Check to Pay Check—It’s always the “little details” that bite your butt!
The audiences we serve expect it; the meeting planners who book us demand it; and the finance company that holds your mortgage prays that you will do it—deliver a flawless, brilliantly executed speech! But how do we make this happen when technology keeps changing, when audience expectations keep growing, when hotels don’t seem to care that you have a speech to give, when the a/v person is never there when you need him or her, when clients keep changing what they want you to speak about—have I made my point yet?
This fun and thought-provoking presentation is guaranteed to provide you with practical, common sense knowledge on the necessary steps to take you from “sound check to pay check” by concentrating on the ingredient that has the most influence on your success—YOU! No one else cares how well your speech goes as much as YOU should!
Neil Dempster is Vice President of Clearview Performance Systems, a performance management, training, and consulting organization. His educational background includes Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, and he is currently completing his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Among his many achievements, Neil was recently named a Certified Speaking Professional, the highest earned designation from the National Speakers Association, a distinction held by less than ten percent of professional speakers worldwide.
