President’s Message from Neil Dempster
I have been a member of NSA for a short six years. In that time, I have never failed to attend the NSA Annual conference because of the magnitude of learning opportunities present. These opportunities take many different forms, including networking with peers, inspirational keynotes, and concurrent sessions that provide incredible hands-on knowledge. I have never failed to come back with the exact information needed to take the next step in my personal and professional growth.
This year, the conference is being held in Scottsdale so there are no travel costs–you can even sleep in your own bed if you don’t want to stay at the JW Marriott. If you are serious about the speaking business (and as a member of NSA A-to-Z, I know you are!), then make sure you get signed up before the early-bird deadline of May 22.
Speaking of extraordinary opportunities, I haven’t before used this “message corner” to talk about an up-coming keynote speaker. This month, I am compelled to do so. Of all the concurrent presenters I have seen at NSA’s Conference, I have learned–and been able to apply–more from Dr. Alan Zimmerman than all other presenters combined! I’m not alone; his session is always standing room only. Why? Because his message is relevant, timely, practical, and easy to implement immediately.
If you want to fill your calendar with all the business you want, then don’t miss this session with Alan Zimmerman. See you there May 9!
Sincerely,
Neil Dempster MBA, CSP
NSA-Arizona President

BUSINESS BUILDING SESSION
Speaking Success in the Quantum Age with Ian Percy, CSP, CPAE
How can you bring your subconscious beliefs into alignment with your conscious desires? About 95% of all the problems organizations face result from self-inflicted wounds—including this entire financial recession! This is true of professional speakers as well.
In this mind-stretching session, Ian Percy explores how and why even the most successful speakers are limited by self-sabotage. It has to do with subconscious beliefs—including unrecognized disabling beliefs cemented into your subconscious when you were two! But here’s the real shocker: your current circumstances are the evidence of what you subconsciously believe. That means until those beliefs change, your circumstances won’t either.
This might be one of the most liberating professional experiences of your life. Ian will help you apply quantum principles for exponentially greater purpose, performance, and prosperity. It includes identifying and then changing the beliefs that keep you from your dreams.
An organizational psychologist, Ian shows corporations how to apply quantum principles to organizational leadership and performance. He has the rare honor of being inducted into both the U.S. and Canadian Speaker Halls of Fame, and has been declared “One of the top 21 speakers for the 21st century” by Successful Meetings magazine.
