Election for 2009-2010 Board of Directors
Bouffard, Vickie

1. What strengths/values would you bring to the Board?
I bring many strengths and values to the NSA-AZ board! Where ever I go, I bring my energy, enthusiasm and desire to make a contribution and a difference along. I have been called – lovingly “the completer”…because I get things done. I get things done because I know how to manage time, resources and energy to plan for completion. No last minute running around for me. I am extremely conscientious; while I may not be the best, I ALWAYS do my best and I expect the best from others.
2. What are you passionate about as it pertains to the chapter and/or the speaking industry and/or life itself?
What I love most about NSA-AZ is that people accept the uniqueness of each of other. I don’t ever have to pretend to be someone else; there is no judgment but only encouragement, support and cheerleading. The realness of the people is amazing. I have made more quality relationships in the past two years at NSA than anywhere else over my lifetime. This is the only place on the planet I can show up and people honor my quirkiness, uniqueness, my sense of humor, my energy and who I really am! Hallelujah! I love this authenticity and I feel like I have finally found the place I am supposed to be. My NSA buddies get me!
Coe, John

1. What strengths/values would you bring to the Board?
The overall strength I would bring to the NSA-AZ board is that of a broad-based business man with over 40 years of experience in a wide variety of firms. In general, this experience lies in the sales and marketing arena. In addition this strength is complimented by several executive positions including President of Protocol B2B in Colorado Springs. Finally, having been an NSA-AZ board member previously, no start up time will be required in order for me to contribute.
2. What are you passionate about as it pertains to the chapter and/or the speaking industry and/or life itself?
One passion that I would like to follow is to expand the reach of our chapter in the Phoenix area as we have such strong content and value at our meetings. This outreach would not only raise our visibility, but attendance as well.
Hunts, Maggie

1. What strengths/values would you bring to the Board?
As CEO and President of It’s A Sweet Life Now, I love to speak, write and sing about living well & happy with diabetes. I’m committed to bringing energy, joy, creativity and innovation to everything I’m involved in. I’ve joined in the NSA spirit of learning and encouraging others by being on the Programming Committee (for powerful monthly meetings) and jointly facilitating the NSA AZ Speaker’s Development Lab, so we all have a safe place to practice, try new things and save months of development time. I believe in putting my passions where my time is.
2. What are you passionate about as it pertains to the chapter and/or the speaking industry and/or life itself?
Speaking allows us to find our voice and speak from our heart. Everyone wants that. At NSA, we’re in a unique position as an Association to not only assist people to express their message in the world and have it make a difference, but also have that very business be financially successful. On the Board, I look forward to working to have NSA AZ grow, make a difference and be profitable. I want to inspire others to successfully accomplish that, so together we ALL reach our goals and prosper!
