Publicity for Speakers - PR Secret Weapons Working Sessions
with Jess Todtfeld, CSP
Learn how to use do-it-yourself tools and video to get more visibility. Create media pitches during the session you can use to get media attention.
As speakers, we need to be visible. We need people to think of us when they are looking to hire. This session will show you visibility techniques you can create yourself using video and tools that are readily available. In addition, you'll learn how to get media attention ...
Capturing media attention for you and your business would be great... but what are the steps? This working session will take you from idea, to pitch email, to a pitch that is ready for the media.
This session will help you customize pitches that are irresistible to the media. You will learn what pitches work and what pitches don’t work. You will create hooks and sound bites designed to get the media to pay attention and desire your story. This exercise is especially helpful because this content can be repurposed for blogs and future speeches.
- Learn the latest tools for using video / creating an online presence that adds major credibility.
- Leave this session with actual media pitches you’ve crafted and personalized.
- Create and customize winning hooks that the media will love (and take them with you.)
- Understand how to create sound bites, and why they are crucial for your promotional materials
- Leave with action items and a finished pitch you can use to get media attention.
