The Voice of Professional Speakers in Arizona

5 Surefire Strategies for Getting Unstuck, On Task, and Writing Again with Laura Bush, Ph.D.

NSA-Arizona Living Room Forum

To further enhance and improve a speaker’s career, NSA-Arizona offers monthly Living Room Forums, which are more intimate events featuring industry experts that are held in private homes or businesses. They are the perfect opportunity for attendees to participate in topics of interest while developing the tools and techniques to grow professionally or to improve areas where they have prior experience.

Because LRF is a smaller venue with a more relaxed and casual setting, you will find it offers attendees a higher level of dialogue with more opportunities for questions, conversations, and action-item takeaways ready for implementation.

The LRF is offered exclusively to members and guests of the NSA-Arizona Chapter.

Whether you’re writing a book or a blog, a first-time author or the author of multiple books, almost every person experiences being stuck at some point. By participating in this writing strategies workshop, you’ll learn how to get started, get going again, or get done with any stalled writing project.

You’ll also discover what commonly stops speakers and entrepreneurs from starting or finishing their books, as well as how to break through those barriers. Bring your laptop or your favorite notepad. Plan to be inspired, get motivated, and have fun writing, too!

Laura L. Bush, Ph.D., is a ghostwriter, writing coaching, and editor. Before starting her writing business in 2012, she taught composition and literature courses for over 20 years, including at Arizona State University. Although she’s published numerous articles and blogs, as well as a groundbreaking book in Western women’s autobiography (Faithful Transgressions in the American West: Six Twentieth-Century Mormon Women’s Autobiographical Acts), she knows very well what it’s like to feel stuck.

The Living Room Forum meets from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Seating is limited.
