Voice Matters: From Caring for Your Voice to Sharing Your Voice

with Hilary Blair, CSP®

Would you like more power, vocal variation, versatility, and longevity with your speaking voice? Would you like your audience to feel you are honest and authentic? This workshop will help you discover how to support your voice—to sustain clarity and connection throughout your daily interactions and over your career.

Application to the Job:

  1. Learn correct ways to avoid vocal fatigue, strain, and loss, and what to do if you do lose your voice.
  2. Understand the impact of and be able to make prosodic choices to enhance your message.
  3. Be able to diagnose your own vocal habits that are cutting you off from true authentic connection with your audience.

Hilary Blair, co-founder ARTiculate: Real&Clear, incorporates her professional voice over and stage training techniques into her re-framing of executive presence and leadership communication. As a trainer, coach, facilitator and speaker, she sees beyond habits and learned behaviors to what is unique and authentic in groups & individuals. Hilary has worked extensively across the globe with a variety of businesses including: American Express, AWS, PwC, Maersk, ALCU Staples, Liberty Global, Slalom, MD Anderson, andGenentech.She is a Certified Speaking Professional®, a member of the National Speakers Association, a member of VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainer's Association) and certified in Conversational Intelligence™️ (CIQ) and CultureTalk. She holds an MFA in acting from the National Theatre Conservatory and a BA from Yale University. One of her favorite springs was spent on a sheep ranch in Montana helping the lambing crew.
