Where Your Speaking Passion Can Lead

with Don Thoren, CMC, CPAE® Speaker Hall of Fame

Do you want to explore the finest ideas for professional speaking, communication, authoring and business building, with some of the most accomplished speakers in America?  In addition to live presentations, this event features custom recorded interviews of 3 of the most distinguished and in demand communication, speaking and leadership thought leaders in America today. The recorded interviews feature:

Roxanne Emmerich (Minnesota) is the only speaker in the country to have been listed as a top speaker in three categories at the same time—organizational culture, leadership, and communication.  From her first presentation, Roxanne has created thousands of clients by offering a broad range of personal and organizational growth services. Each is a significant revenue streams envied by many.

Dr. Willie Jolley (Washington D.C.) started as a classroom teacher and years later was named “One of the Outstanding Five Speakers in the World” by the 175,000 members of Toastmasters International. In addition to being a sought-after speaker, Dr. Jolley has authored a number of best-selling books including - It Only Takes A Minute To Change Your Life, A Setback Is A Setup For A Comeback and An Attitude of Excellence.

Nido Qubein (North Carolina) has received almost every speaking excellence award. In 2005, he became President of High Point University, and he led the institution to phenomenal growth, significant academic advancement, and moved it to the number one spot among Best Colleges in the South. (And some say the best and most relevant University in America). Nido still takes limited speaking engagements, and his audiences include the top layers of government, education, and business. He is a Lebanese immigrant arriving in America at age 17 with $50 in his pocket.

The meeting is led by Don Thoren and includes live presentation as well as Don’s recorded guest interviews. Don is one of the Founding Members of NSA, a member of the Speakers Hall of Fame and member of the class of 2012 Legends of the Speaking Profession.  The key focus of NSA membership is to maximize the number of lives we can change and the amount of money we can make along the way.

After you have been inspired by Roxanne, Willie and Nido to expand your horizon for what more you can achieve as a communicator and leader, there is more! Don will help you craft your best presentation yet with the following:

  1. How to know your audience needs and wants today? Really KNOW them? How will they know you know them?
  2. What is the difference between your introduction and your opening? What information should be in each?  How do you get your audience sitting on the edge of their chair in anticipation of what you will present?
  3. What words do you use to seamlessly transition between key points of your presentation?
  4. How many key points do you plan for your presentation and what are some of the most imaginative ways to present them?
  5. What is a signature story and how do you discover, craft, and use yours?
  6. How do you end your presentation with a message that motivates others to think, feel and/or do?

EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS ON FEBRUARY 5TH. REGISTER EARLY TO AVOID A LATE FEE.

Guests must be registered in advance due to limited seating.
