You will learn specific, simple and systematic tips and tweaks that will help you connect even better to any audience by using three simple ideas that form the basis of this entire message for you at the April meeting.

1-Speaking effectively is a learned skill. Like with any skill, the more you know and practice, the better you can be.

2-Speaking is NOT a performance art, it's a connection art. And the best way to connect with any audience is to be your authentic self. Because when you are you, you are much more relaxed and confident and nervousness is no longer part of your mindset.

3-The extraordinary speaker knows it's all about the audience and not about them. The mindset that puts you in this state of mind is simply this statement, "No one cares about you!" UNLESS---Your story, your experiences or your knowledge can benefit them. When you constantly remind yourself, "What's in it for them?" you get yourself out of the way and your message can flow to your listeners.

After hearing the Speaking Tips and Tweaks, you will know how to open any message just by using 3 powerful words, and how to end your message by using just one word. You'll learn the three-word formula to help you and your audience stay on point. You will have a simple way to know exactly how effective your audience found your message to be. This presentation will be interactive and you'll have an opportunity to ask any question you want about speaking effectively. When you walk out that door at the end of the April meeting, you should feel even more confident about your speaking career because you'll have lots of practical tools, tips, and techniques you can use immediately in your next presentation.

Joel Weldon is an original founding member of NSA. He's a Hall of Fame speaker who's been paid to speak at over 3,000 events and has personally coached over 10,000 speakers. Some people can do and some people can teach, Joel excels at both. He's the creator of the Ultimate Speaking System, designed to help business executives, entrepreneurs and business owners use speaking to grow their business. Joel's philosophy is simply this: make your message impossible to be misunderstood, because speaking is simple, when you have a system. For over 4 decades, Joel has been known for his unique business card which is an 8 oz can that says, "Success Comes in Cans Not in Cannots." Over a half a million people have his success as a constant reminder of what they CAN do!
